General terms and conditions for Ticino Outdoor activities

1. General Provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services offered by Ticino Outdoor, including but not limited to canyoning tours, via ferrata, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities.
By booking an activity with Ticino Outdoor, you agree to these terms and conditions in full.
Ticino Outdoor reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be published on our website.

Bookings can be made online through our website, by phone, or by email.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of payment or written confirmation from Ticino Outdoor.
Participants must provide accurate personal information at the time of booking, including name, age, contact details, and any relevant health information.
Group bookings require a designated contact person who is responsible for communication with all participants.

All prices are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include VAT where applicable.
Prices include: professional guide services, all necessary technical equipment, safety briefing, and insurance as specified.
Optional extras such as photo/video packages are charged separately.
Payment methods accepted: Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), TWINT, bank transfer, and cash.
Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Free cancellation: Up to 48 hours before the scheduled activity, you may cancel free of charge.
Late cancellation: Cancellations within 48 hours of the activity are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
No-show: Failure to appear without prior notification will result in 100% charge.
Weather cancellation: If Ticino Outdoor cancels due to weather or safety concerns, you will receive a full refund or free rebooking.
Rebooking: You may reschedule your booking once, subject to availability, at no additional charge if done more than 48 hours in advance.

All participants must be in good physical health and capable of performing the activity.
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, disabilities, or limitations that may affect their ability to participate safely.
Minimum age requirements vary by activity and are specified on each tour page.
Participants must follow all instructions given by guides at all times.
Ticino Outdoor reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who appears unfit, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who fails to follow safety instructions.
Participants must sign a liability waiver before the activity begins.

Ticino Outdoor carries comprehensive liability insurance for all guided activities.
Basic accident insurance is included in the tour price.
Participants are responsible for their own travel and health insurance.
Ticino Outdoor is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by Swiss law. Ticino Outdoor is not responsible for damages resulting from force majeure, participant negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

Ticino Outdoor may take photos and videos during activities for marketing and promotional purposes.
By participating, you grant Ticino Outdoor permission to use your image unless you explicitly opt out in writing before the activity.
Purchased photo/video packages are for personal use only and may not be used commercially without written permission.

Gift cards are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift cards can be used for any Ticino Outdoor activity, subject to availability.
Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

Ticino Outdoor collects and processes personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection laws.
Personal data is used solely for booking management, safety purposes, and communication.
Data is not shared with third parties except as required by law or for insurance purposes.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

These terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law.
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ticino, Switzerland.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
